APOLLO & DIONYSUS
We are firm believers in Willamette Valley Syrah. Once we secured the oldest Syrah from Deux Vert Vineyards, we knew we had the spirit of Dionysus and a bit of luck on our side. An important and historic vineyard, the special sandstone soils at Deux Vert Vineyards, produce some of the Valleys most extraordinary wines. It was one of the first vineyards in the late 1990’s to “re-think” what types of grapes could grow successfully here.
Special thanks to: Leonid Ilyukhin. This is a massive (14 ft x 6.5 ft) oil painting on canvas. It was his final version of his diploma project in order to graduated from the prestigious Glazunov Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow, Russia.

Our inaugural release of single vineyard Syrah from the famed Deux Vert Vineyard in Yamhill, Oregon. Woah, buddy! Here we go! This is one of the best Syrahs ever made from the Willamette Valley. Lavender, Sauvage, Iodine, Charcuterie, Red fruits, and an incredibly clean and fresh finish. This wine clocks in at just under 12% alcohol which is shocking given the weight and depth that this wine provides. The future of Syrah in the Willamette Valley is strong.
